Cmorej receives additional one game suspension
BOUCHERVILLE - The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League disciplinary committee today imposed an additional one game suspension to PEI Rocket winger Peter Cmorej.
The suspension follows an incident that occurred in a game against the Moncton Wildcats last Wednesday in which Cmorej illegally body-checked an opposing player from behind.
The decision was rendered after viewing the videotape of the incident and consulting all concerned parties. The suspension is in effect as of today.
In accordance with the QMJHL policy in the matter of disciplinary sanctions, the disciplinary committee will not be available for further comment.
